We are sorry, no further bookings can be made for Meeline Station during our open months of July and August.

Please direct any enquiries to karenmorrisseymeeline@gmail.com

We are only a “short” side trip off the Great Northern Highway and, being on the very western fringe of the Western Desert – offer a popular “accessible” outback location for those travelling through and for those staying on to enjoy the space. Meeline has a private airstrip 1km south of the homestead and landing area at the homestead for a helicopter.

Road Conditions

Please always confirm road conditions before setting out, as the road is impassable after rains.  There are heavy fines for roads being used when officially closed. You can call us on (08) 99635828 or 0427635828.  Alternatively, please phone the Shire of Mount Magnet (08) 9963 3000 for  the most up to date information on whether  roads have been closed. As road conditions can change very quickly and straying stock and wildlife move onto the road with little warning, we would ask you to slow down and enjoy the view.  Generally the road is fine for most vehicles.

There are many Kangaroos and Emus on the roadsides from Wubin and Mullewa  onwards.  We’d encourage you to drive during the daytime hours, avoiding dusk or dawn.
